Thakur Polytechnic has been granted Linguistic Minority Status for Hindi Speaking Community by the Govt. of Maharashtra vide Letter No. and offers three-year diploma courses in various branches of engineering and technology, the syllabi of which are prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE). The courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra.

The students are assessed through a well-defined continuous assessment system & examination conducted by the MSBTE. The successful candidates are awarded diploma in respective specialization by the MSBTE. The diploma students are widely accepted by the private as well as public sector industries and organisations.
